Winston Churchill (1874-1965) is a figure almost anyone today knows something about. Sometimes referred to as "the last lion", Churchill is one of those historical figures that was the right man for the right time and was instrumental in saving the West during WW2 from the face of Nazi tyranny. Though Churchill was not without his faults, he espoused and practiced a set of values based on courage that both saved England in its "darkest hour" and stood as a beacon to the remainder of the world that even in the face of an evil that looks all encompassing, man still has a moral responsibility to rise up in staunch opposition.
