The Francis Asbury Mug

Beyond John and Charles Wesley, the rise of Methodism as a discipleship philosophy and practice required hundreds and thousands of circuit riders over a century to commit to horseback and travel for the sake of the good news. Francis Asbury is, perhaps, the most famous of these circuit riders--such that he bears the name of my Alma Mater, Asbury Theological Seminary. This mug is dedicated to those efforts that he and so many others, both men and women, made to put the good news in a saddle and send it across the country....and the world!
